Corrections first, pitches second

How to send a correction, pitch a piece, or ask about supporting the reporting.

Voice was never a Blizzard feature. The raid’s coordination layer has always been someone else’s software.

Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. If a date, a figure or an attribution here is wrong, say which piece and what the right version is, and it will be fixed with a note.

Corrections and additions

Email [email protected]. Include the piece’s title and, where you can, the source that settles it — a patch note, a filing, a published statement. Corrections to figures are applied in place and recorded at the foot of the piece.

Pitches

The site commissions occasionally, and only for material that can be dated and sourced. A pitch that names the decision, the date and the record it rests on is read; a pitch that names a feeling is not. [email protected].

Supporting the reporting

The site carries no advertising. It is funded by the eight supporters named in the colophon on the front page. Enquiries to [email protected].
