Guild Wars vs World of Warcraft

Well, my ‘weekend off work’ didn’t go as smooth as intended – mainly because I didn’t have a weekend and all I did was work, but oh well – I charge by the hour so I can’t really complain ^.^
Anywho, let’s start the week off by asking that eternal question:
What is better?

i was gonna say WoW is definitely the winner by a hundred miles, but i’d have to say it’s mc hammer that takes the win this time… haha, insane vid man, loved it!

I think World of Warcraft is obviously a better game than Guild Wars. WOW is just amazing and I’m sure many will support my opinion.

WOW will always have my vote. I just love the game! I have enjoyed all of the people I have met while playing and also it brings my group of friends closer. YAY to WOW!
I find the story of WoW to be forced and rather nonsensical. Things like the night elves and tauren going to war, or the humans excepting the death knights but not the forsaken make absolutely no sense. Additionally, the quests of WoW are just generally stupid. Guild wars has quests and missions that make you’re character actually seem important, instead of collecting 10 wolf pelts over 15 minutes of grinding.

I’ve played them both and they’re both really good at what they do. If you want pretty graphics and an emphasis on balancing your builds, go with Guild Wars. If you are okay with blocky cartoon graphics and love being able to spend hours playing a game then WOW is for you.
