Quick Update: WoW Fail Blog is moving to a new server!

We’ve been having some performance issues recently, downtime, loading issues, etc, and to be honest - I’m jacked of it. Alex & I have just aquired a brand new shiny dedicated server over in the US. Sure, it’s gonna cost my left leg and his right foot a month… Which could be intersting when we run out of legs and feet to barter with, but such is life.
Anyway, the move will be happening some time over the next few days – will let you know more when the info reaches me.
The schedual all depends on if Alex breaks anything or not >.<
Side Note: Finally watched the Battlestar Galactica final last night (well, at 3am this moning, but anyway). It was freaking awesome. Sure, there was some inconsistencies, and some stuff could have been done better, but all in all – a fantastic ending to a fantastic show. BSG – you will be missed.

Well, it looks like the move is still a few days away.
Alex is having ‘fun’ sorting out some things on the new server which are taking longer than expected.
We’ll let you know when we’re going to move. It will probably be over the Easter Weekend some time.
Downtime will be about 24 hours (less if you have a good ISP that updates its DNS frequently…), but if you’re using a cheap-arse backwater Australian ISP with DNS Servers built by MacGyver, using nothing but toothpicks and chewing gum *cough* Comcen *cough*, it might take a bit longer for you >.<
